the f7 6 wheeler was one of the early trucks with a rear lift up axle i was a grease monkey at the time it was delivered new and we had never seen any thing like it before on a rigid,the low loader you see on the other picture as i remember that komatsu job never took of im almost 100 0/0 sure the unit ended up being turned into a wrecker.

Graham furniss is right, the wagon and drags were comets, the artics were mandators, a bloke i used to work with Graham Price used to do a lot of casual for them.
Haven’t heard of wilkinson/wilko. The only drivers i knew doing the middle east from leicester was Terry Tott in a blue 142 and Rob Spicer in his brown and orange transcon.

there was definatley a firm there they used to park at the old garage at queniboro,it was the main road in them days as there was no bypass,
