Havenβt seen it yet ramone but it goes a long way to prove Peter Davies can still collect his fees for his past efforts and be in no way affected by our occasional use of his images copied (badly) from books etc. In fact personally I feel that any exposure of his work can be seen as review and if it helps sell one more book or bring one new enthusiast into the fold then whatβs wrong with that? Well done that man Davies and long may he continue to entertain and inform usβ¦jim
im a big fan of his Jim , he keeps coming up with these gems he had another great Longs picture in last months issue pictured at Liverpool docks a mk111 and it turns out my dad drove it for 3 months whilst his mkv was in for the m.o.t which had just been introduced

Another great picture courtesy of Bubbleman hope he doesn`t mind me posting it here, anyone know who drove it?
There`s a pictire of 2 Longs vehicles in his weeks vintage road scene a F88 and a merc
Piece of sad news for all ex Longs drivers. Les Simpson who drove a four wheeler on the Courtolds job died a few days ago. Although he was 80 years old he was still working for a scrap firm in keighley. He was a smashing bloke RIP Les.
