My son and I are in the process of building a Kew Dodge tipper model based on the ones used by Henley Quarry in the late 1950s early 1960s. These were virtually identical to the ones used in the “Hell Drivers” film. I grew up with these thundering along the local roads when I was a boy, but for the life of me can`t remember the precise colours. I think they were cream bodies with red wings.
If anyone has any recollection or old photos of these Henley Quarry Dodges we would be most grateful.
