hi just seen hendersons are wanting a driver has any one got any info on them what are like to work for , takle ,ect
Is it for tippers or general? They have 3 tippers which supply a feed mill at Murton, York and if it’s for that job it’s fairly oldish tackle and some ancient looking trailers! That job will be no nights out but early starts I would imagine, they are mainly just in Yorkshire but do venture over to Liverpool occasionally. No idea about money.
They also run a lot of general haulage motors on steel pipe work and extendables aswell as curtains and other general haulage. Again the motors aren’t the newest and I would think that job will involve nights out and longer distance.

We regularly tip at A place next door to their yard just outside selby, and have seen Hendersons yard change on a regular basis from decent old FHs to more newer FHs. The older ones are still in the Hendersons blue livery whilst the newer ones are plain white with Hendersons on the top ! Mainly all flats, some curtain, i see them sth on the M1 quite a lot so they get about a bit…
They got hauled up before the TC a few years ago for maintenance iirc, but they seem to have put their house in order.
Some of their motors have seen better days though.

They knew what a pound of flesh looked like. My mate drove for them on the Murton job, now he works shifts in the mill, less hours and more money…
