Hello I am a new wannabe trucker, I’ve booked my training in February after passing both theory tests and my Cpc module 2. I wanted to point out a few things that may help anybody about to take theory tests that I didn’t know until I taken them. Generally when you are revising you get a question for example (mark 3 answers) out of 5. If you get 2/5 correct you still fail the question. However this isn’t the case when taking your tests you will only get get confronted with choose 1 out of a possible 4 questions which makes it a lot easier. Also coming to revise my Cpc 2 I fount it hard to find revision tools but if you practice what you have on your theory disk you’ll be more than fine. Try to take them at similar times. You’ll sail through these not a problem. They’ve also updated the hazard perception from a camera on a dash board to a computerised simulations making it a lot easier to spot hazards (DVsa videos online). Good luck getting through the loop holes. Anything I can help with or if I’ve not explained very well please ask me to further explain.

Hi there, best of luck with your practical’s mate,
Thanks for the info, I have all x3 of mine next week just after having an assessment and theory day with peter smythe, (HIGHLY RECCOMENDED)
With the hazard perception, how did you click on the screen , did you wait a few secs or click then click again after a few secs ?
Yes I clicked in a series of 3 1 second apart, practising the mock hazards is very helpful. All the best mate. 2 weeks I’ll be in behind the wheel training

The pass is;
67/100 for hazard
85/100 for multiple choice
40/50 for Cpc module 2
Any help you need message me!
They do have some that are pick 2, I’m sure I had a couple. Anyway, the test questions have 4 possible answers. 2 are wrong, really obvious. 1 is a bit wrong. 1 is right. Exempli gratias:
What does the red airline do?
- Supply 5th wheel grease.
- Provide air for the secondary braking system.
- Provide screenwash.
- Provide air for the main braking system.
It’s 4. I think. But you get the point.
Yes but you get the general idea of what I was saying it’s always 1/4 you “choose”, when I was in the process of revising on the theory disk it was asking me to pick 3, 2 even 4 sometimes. This must’ve been updated recently and makes it a lot easier in my opinion.
Much appreciated, be doing mine very soon hopefully so your post has eased the fear a touch
Best of luck with your training

you worry then when you pass you think “I was worrying for nothing was so easy” I have faith you’ll fly through it!
Just seen this post! I had my multiple choice and hazard perception this week! Failed my muiltiple choice by 2 83/100! Gutted but hey ho. I have my cpc mod 2 in 2 weeks time and my resit of the 100 questions couple days later!
I’ve been hunting for cpc training and barely found any! Was thinking that the theory training book would be enough! This post has confirmed it!
I like the new hazard perception test, the simulation is quite good but i felt it was a bit slow if that makes sense [emoji52] passed that easily anyway though!
Thanks and good luck

I think if you revise what you did to revise for your multiple choice you’ll be fine, 83 isn’t miles away, take your time, no pressure on time, See you on the road soon!!!
