Help needed in the scunthorpe area

evening all, i’ll try and keep this brief as I’m meant to be getting some sleep… anyway the lad I work for has been knocked off his bike today and this has resulted in a shattered pelvis - currently he’s in hull having surgery,
so it doesn’t take much to work out that he aint gonna be behind the wheel for a while so I need to find someone to cover his truck for a while, I realise this is the busiest time for the self employed lads who do holiday cover but it cant harm to put a post on here, self employed would be favourite but in times of need, not essential I guess, type of work is most likely to be fridges but I cant say for sure until tomorrow,
sorry if that’s not the most informative post ever but im rushing, anyone interested or knows a guy(or gal) who might be able please feel free to give me a bell or text on 07946433239, cheers, chris

I think he’s referring to the git that knocked your gaffer off his bike!
Or just a general description of the situation…

Nip over to Facebook and stick it on the Give Lorry Drivers A Break page as well.

As it is interactive, you might get a faster response.

haha yeah, just opened the page and got it before reading the explanation - I had been awake for around 15 minutes when I read it this morning doh! brain function minimal at that point! … think im one of the few who are not on facebook, maybe one day, i’ll see if our lass can do it for me

not heard how the op went last night but a brief chat with carls missus this morning confirmed what I thought, the recovery time could be quite long - months, so it could be we are looking to take on someone full time.

I’ve posted it on FB for you Chris.
