Help and advise wanted central London 26/10/2015

Please can anyone advise me where to park a 4x4 with a 7 metre rib on the back whilst I go to the passport office to renew my passport tomorrow ? I will be coming in from Dover late tonight.

Surely the train / tube / public transport would be better getting into that hole?

Find a transport yard (or similar) where they will allow you to park and get public transport in somewhere.

That HAS to be cheaper than trying to avoid a ticket / clamping etc just for the sake of a few hours going into the centre??

More than happy to pay for secure parking, it’s just been several years since I drove an artic into London. I remember there being a lorry park near Vauxhall Bridge is that still there or has it been built on ?

Don’t forget the congestion charge

Don’t forget the congestion charge

and the low emissions charge depending on your vehicle.

Central London is like a cow fresh cow pat ! best avoided

There’s a coach/truck park on Bayswater Road that’s probably your best bet

Thanks switchlogic that will do fine.

May be easier to find somewhere to park near a station in Kent and get the train in as its right next door to London Victoria station .if the parking on the Bayswater rd is full or on a time limit you will be screwed as the passport office ain’t quick normally have to go back 4 hrs later to collect passports . My suggestion wud be quarry wood ind est and get a cab (£5-6)to the Maidstone station that goes to Victoria

The Passport Office is literally right next to Victoria train / coach station.

No time limit on Baywater Coach Park, park as long as you like. Also thinking about it there’s also a truck/coach park by the main entrance to New Covent Garden market
