not sure if this is the place to say hello but i thought i would anyway! i cant quite remember when i signed up to this forum but i thought it was about time i started using it…my user name everywhere else is sixaxles(ebay, youtube etc…) but surprisingly it was taken here lol, i’ve been an owner driver now for 11 years nearly(march 2nd),based near scunny i started in felixstowe, went from one truck to four, lost nearly everything in 08/09, now happily(well most of the time) back to one truck and back in felixstowe- for how long, who knows so hello everyone maybe see you around! chris.

My last truck was a ssc, it looked just like that with the air dam under the bumper, painted metallic silver.
Cupid stunt that I am, I replaced it with a globetrotter.
Is that the yard that Dave Turnbull used to park in?

it is an ftp, always wanted one of these and when we decided the man had to go i searched hi and lo for one, its a good truck now, it had issues to say the least when i first got it lol - but then you would if your first owner was tinnelly transport

lower air dam can be a problem when you find “a special puddle” i’ve only bust one so far, and my neighbour broke its replacement!!
it means its the model with the little midlift, can still run at 44 tonne but enjoy not faffing about stopping for diesel all the time because you can get a pair of decent tanks on - and then cover up the embarrassingly small wheel with big side skirts

no but i needed to add something to sixaxles as someone else has grabbed that, so i just took the number off the cars plate, which the previous owner put on it - 666 the number of the beast and all that lol

Your truck looks awesome! I also work out of felixstowe on ro ro’s dont sure if i’ve seen you though but will certainly keep a look out.
i’m back on the container side of things again now, working for post kogeko was good, i really like the guys over there but in the quite times they were just not giving me enough notice there’d be nowt to do the following day, so it was nearly impossible to fill in the blanks.
thanks for comments fellas, the old lass is a continuing work in progress - hopefully i’ll be wafting the paint gun around her sometime soon and getting my alcoas on! we’ll see though, maybe i’ll make a mini film of it!!
