at the truck shows, most drivers would be willing to let your little girl sit in the truck for photo’s

Hi rosie and welcome to the site,
I used to wave a trucks/lorries/wagons when I was that age from the back of my dads van. I think the fact that lots of drivers waved back made me want to be a driver myself. (My dad and grandad and great grandad were all builders in the family firm,so I was a bit of a disapointment to them 
)
That was back in the 60s , Im nearly 50 now and still have a laugh whenever I see a youngster waving. It goes without saying that I always wave back.

i will take her to as many as she asks to go , matt mine is the same … she loves fast cars, is a real worry lol , but she is still girlie , baths them tucks them up in whats supposed to be a cot for her dolls, knows were they all are…lol pushes them in her dolls pram… no dolls in it just things on wheels lol

Hey, that shows your little one has some intelligence, after all you can have more fun with cars & trucks than dolls!!, I used to make dust tracks & quarry’s for my trucks when i was young/little, never grew out of it either 
, i now do the same with the young ones when i see my family members, they are Telford & Chester way. & they’re made up when they come with me occassionaly & wear a hi viz even though its down to there knees lol makes their day, & mine

mine loves the dirt too … i try to dress her in pretty dresses comes in two sec later covered in dirt , she makes tracks in the garden and bridges for her cars, been a mum is the best job in world

whats it like sleeping in the truck , do u have fridges etc… can u watch telly … how do u wash etc… dont u get a little nervous sleeping in lay bys …

my truck has got factory fitted fridge, also i have fitted a microwave oven, take a camping stove and some pans for cooking
i don’t do nights out these days though, i prefer to be at home 
sleeping to u sleep on a bed is it a camp bed or fitted , dont u get lonely in it after a few nites , how do u cope with that… does it have a toilet in it, always wondered that bit …
i dont blame anyone wanting to be home ,
especially on winter nites when the weather is bad, how did u get on with the snow …
does it have heating in it if the engine is not on how does it stay warm .
how much fuel does it take to fill one up …

I do get lonely at times but then again I do like my own company too…
Most if not all trucks more have night heaters in to keep us warm at night.
For toilets and showers we have to use services and truck stops etc, some aren’t the nicest of places but at least they don’t charge. (except for over night parking).
We do get extra money for nights out too.
Oh, and glad us truck drivers have more uses than must driving and delivering stuff
