thanks Tim, I’m in the auvergne in central france, but once i’ve done my training i will be moving south…
Dogmatix - she drives me MAD!! she wants a pink tractor and a pink car and is over the moon cos shes got a pink school bus lol. She’s 4 in a couple of weeks and I’m dreading it - the house will become the pink princess’s pink parlour arggggggggghhhh

Yeah mine made me down load the picture of the training truck that they did in pink for the girlies and insists on looking at it every morning before school arrgggh - mind you i guess i don’t help much i told her I’d painted the sky pink in the mornings specially for her 
Awww…bless. Mine got rather attached to that Isuzu ( “Suzi”) that was doing the rounds a year or two back, after she got to have a sit in it. She wouldn’t fall for Mum painting the sky pink though - she’d be too busy wondering why I was home on a weekday!
(I always cringe when I think how I missed her first smile because I was on the A34 in a lorry. Nothing changes. )
Can’t find a picture of Suzi, as the promotion’s long finished now. Here’s one of her “brother” Grafta, though (the truck, not the kids…) - if you look to the left you can just see Suzi’s pink box.

Yes its cute about the pink sky, but then she does practise blowing all the black clouds back to her papa in the uk as well!

And they don’t always grow out of it. My 17 year old Niece wanted pink alloys for her car this christmas.
She didn’t get them, but did get a pink sat nav and pink licence holder.
To be brutally honest, I’m hoping my girlie will go off wagons completely and go on to be the world’s pinkest Transport Manager. Or Doctor. Or Lawyer. Or, hell, Burger Flipper In MacD’s…Anything other than spending 5 days a week living in a tin box, basically!
I suspect may be onto a loser though…

I dont do pink and neither does my daughter but she is a bit older than 4 but she was never really into pink when younger

Thanks for all the good lucks… I had the letter through today confirming my place so 4 weeks on monday I’ll be starting… I’m busy going through all the stuff we’ll get tested on, it was a hell of a lot more straightforward when I did my bus test lol plus then it was in english so I didnt have to think TOO hard. I guess I’m lucky that I’m not worried about the driving side of things so much so at least I can concentrate on understanding the language side of it all lol
My older daughter was always girly girly and has ended up a hairdresser but was never into pink really either, but I think she’s living out her secret pink fantasies through her little sister by buying her loads of pink stuff! I can’t win really .
Me either. I made the mistake of using my Landy to go shopping in today, complete with “The Pink One”. She’s besotted with the ■■■■ thing again…

Don’t even think about getting me started on my opinion of that…along with all the other initiatives designed to get more “gurls” into wagons… 
It’s attracting 4 year olds. 'Nuf said.
Now you’ll excuse me navigating away from this page a bit sharpish before my 5 year old sees it…
Lets just say that as far as I’m concerned if a woman is only attracted to truck driving because the training truck’s pink she’s not really gonna cut it in the real world… I guess there might be the odd exceptions who do discover the passion that way but really you either want to drive trucks or you don’t…
For me the passion is in the driving… doesn’t matter what colour the truck is
