I’ve been reading a few posts and thought I would register and say hello.
My name’s Gareth and I’m from Newport in South Wales.
I actually got my c and c+e in from courses as part of a redundancy package from a previous employer back in 2003. So why am I in the New and Wannabe forum? Well since I passed my c+e test I have never driven a lorry again. Another redundancy later here I am.
I know there is a cpc card to acquire and I think tacho hours have changed so some homework is required.
I also plan on doing a day with a trainer doing mainly reversing in an artic, so if anyone knows a good trainer in this area…(I did my original training in the Midlands.
Anyway, sorry for the long post and I look forward to learning the ropes with you all.
