Just a quick hello, remember looking on here before I passed my test.
When I passed thought I would have a year driving to clear my head.
Ten years on I am still hard at it. Time fly’s when your having fun

Hiya mate. Welcome to Trucknet, if you are STILL having fun after 10 yrs of driving you aint doing so bad.
What kind of work are you doing?
Been driving for 25 years , still loving it. Back to living in the penthouse on wheels. Getting paid to travel around the country, waking up to a different view every morning, no ■■■■■ neighbours to worry about… what’s not to like? People pay good money to do that in a caravan
(Edit. I’ll forgive you the fly’s / flies faux pas )
You have unwittingly discovered the font of all knowledge. Use it wisely/sparingly. It is very powerful.
Night trunking out of Sunny Scunny after 7 years delivering to corner shops on housing estates and city centers, trunking is like a dream come true much NISA than days, ya get me.

blimey Well done for sticking that one out for 7 years, Seems to me most people only do multi drops for 2 years max after passing before getting after something better
I Know was a tough old job and the tight drops made a man of you. There is about 70 drivers on days and about 20 ■■■■■■■■ 10years plus guys.
Dragging 500kg-1000kg pallets over rough tarmac and up slopes with the customer giving little or no help does not make for a pleasant day.
It was the 4 day week and 32k that made it bearable plus the 20 long termers, good blokes. Seen many come and go lasting less than a week most.
They now have electric pallet trucks so its a little easier on them. the poor buggers are being dragged in at 1-2 in the morning as day drivers but they wont stand up to the company. After being brutalised with that day work I have become a bit militant on my start times Nights means Nights not 2pm in the afternoon.
I do a bit of moaning myself but in general pleased with pay and conditions the Desk are OK to treat as you like to get tret I say.
Gona do my Int. and Nat. CPC this year and see how I feel about it all. Only went driving after selling my business to clear my head.
There is def. harder ways to earn a crust.
