When there are 26 pallets at over a ton each to load on a trailer, drop the suspension on the tractor unit and raise the suspension on the trailer to use gravity to your advantage, it stops you getting a hernia or damage to the back.

If it’s a chilled/frozen load, don’t trust the pump truck to lower when you pull the release as if it’s got too cold or worn, it won’t drop… Or will just it really slowly, whilst picking up speed to the hole at the end… 
I have done the onions at over a ton a pallet, i was very fit then and did not need to join a gym.It was common to have the load all mixed up, so at each drop i had to move the load around as the client ordered different sizes and grades of produce.
