A couple more photo’s from my collection

These were taken during a move of 10 abnormal loads from the docks at Warren Point to Derrylin

The largest load was @ 250 tonne gross weight and was pulled by the 6X6 Unipower and pushed by a Scammell contractor

My load was a 64 tonne section… @ 5 metres wide, carried on a 6 axle semi low loader

It took us, (Econofreight and Martrain transport) over 19 hours to do the move, it had to be done in one day as the RUC were not keen to park us up and come back to us next day…
this final photo shows the similar load to mine travelling down the road infront of me …

Excellent Pics Rikki! I remember some of that type of iron in the yard Econo had at Cannell Rd Burntwood. They had some of the T45 cabbed stuff as well.
