Can’t believe you didn’t remeber this trip Johnny, you riding shotgun after all those years… that’s you on the left, back in the day you’d decided to grow a beard to look more mature…

No it was the other way round, I’m the bloke in the black shirt (and having a moustache, for the same reason you are having that beard…), and you kept banging on how you’ve been a experienced continental driver, with the shirt to prove it, and you wanted to drive a wagon for old times sake… Clearly your memory isn’t in the best of shapes these days eh…
No worries pal, I’m still proud to call you my mate… oh hang on…

Oh deary me Dean, this is the holy grail mate! Saw Sewell’s Crusader in the flesh last year, and normally I don’t do things like that, but I’ve been photographed whilst standing next to that beast… no no, I’m not going to post that, no need to scare all the people having a quick peek on here

Cheers Chris, impressive wagons… even if they’re used as some advertising bilboard…

Patrick I thought some photos actually the only ones I have of the 2 Crusaders we had working in the Western Kimberly of West Oz in the early 70s ,Both powered by Detroit 8v71 series 15 speed road rangers one with A/C {mine] might wet your appetite for a couple of trucks that worked hard all their life but came through it ok as I know my old wagon is still around working/parked on a farm, apologies for invading the HH site but these trucks punched way past their weight at times and the picture conditions I only had a box brownie.
Cheers Dig
