Always did it. Had 5 or 6 pieces in side locker, different lengths and thicknesses. If you ever parked outside Scarboro’ waste yard you’d know why (1 in 4 downhill slope!)

Is this one of the former ALE units, or is it the last of the Alvis Unipower tractor units?

I know it’s a crew cab, but what a good sleeper it would have made back in the day.
I’ve often thought that about crew cabs of that era!
