Hi Larry, Re: the photo of the Highland Haulage tin front Mammoth Major BXS 277.
BXS 278 ended up South Wales with D. David & Sons and was converted eventually to a tractor unit and was later fitted with a Thornycroft Trusty cab but I cannot remember why , probably involved in a pile up.

The MAP “A” team, Wizza,Jase and Tommy at Cherwell this evening en route to Blenheim Palace loaded with new barge hoppers ex Whalley for a big dredging job. The barges are 20 mtrs long and 4 mtrs wide . Cheers Bewick.
