"Heavy Haulage through the years"

I tend to think he’s already hooked up Robert and he’s either pushing the load on or pulling it off .

Another fine example from the Austrian company Felbermayr - Transport and lifting technology | FELBERMAYR. They have been around for over 50 years and now have 2,700 employees based at 67 sites in 19 countries around Europe. They have just moved into a new 9,000 square meter headquarters in Wels, Oberthan, Austria.

This photo has been around for a few years now. Am not sure if it would be classed as heavy haulage, but the load is a little over-sized for the lorry carrying it.

The Italian heavy haulage specialist Fratelli Pulvini has quite distinctive colours and paintings on their trucks. The company is based in the north of Italy, south west of Venice in Noventa Vicentina VI.

My friends lorry when he drove for Walkers .

One of Walker’s came to my rescue a couple of years ago, when I broke down on the M1. Was loaded with a crawler from a big crane and was on my way to the Weldex yard in Alfreton. Absolute gent, I think his name was Brian? Drove a 8x4 DAF. Should have got some pictures of it somewhere.

Haven’t posted any Magnaload pics for a while, but here are a few. Not a massive load but it was a challenge as you can see dragging the loco over a bridge i think it was in Workington.

Nice pics chap.

Great pictures Oiltreader. Quite a trailer the Mammoet Mercedes is pulling.

Ta for posting Oily

Can’t really identify the Mammoet trailer, but it might be of Italian origin?

Think you’re right DIG, as the trailer operator is busy with leveling the hydraulics.

On a side note, these mighty FTF’s (V12 Detroit under the bonnet) are still earning their keep after nearly 50 years! Mammut Colombia sold them to another heavy haulage firm in Colombia, I’ll see if I can find some pic’s of it.

Another fine example of a Felbermayr unit Johnny, and even better because it’s a DAF this time
