All that money on the lorry with all its bling yet it’s a day cab.

A dedicated HH tractor, not many miles a day and then parked up with the driver taken by pilot car to the pub for the night, and a nice comfy bed upstairs to sleep in.

Now that’s really interesting Dean, looks like it’s fitted with different headlights too…? Wonder what happened to it, as most Swedish operators would have opted for either a Scania or Volvo…?

I recently found out that Bolk is very closely tied with Potteries, not sure when that started, but I’ll ask around, ta Oily

Didn’t they had “Nene Vorsitzer” written on the cabs later on, when they entered the Merc era? Does anyone know what that actually meant?

Econofreight on the move.

This was a record breaking move, although I forgot what the weight was…

A move like that would be done by SPMT’s nowadays, the technical solutions really took a flight in the past 30 years.

Wynns in action

Has anyone put the “igg” AirBus site up here yet?
Cant see it, but apologies if already covered. [fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itin%C3%A ... nd_gabarit](https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itin%C3%A9raire_%C3%A0_grand_gabarit) A video embedded here. [igg.fr/spip.php?article39](http://www.igg.fr/spip.php?article39) Not often lorry drivers get a round of applause is it? Ive not seen them on the move, but have seen them parked up during the day. Huge.
This CNN article is quite good too.

The A380 fuselage is about 8.50m tall and 7.2m wide.

I came past a dedicated parking area several times not far from Toulouse where they were parked up, those things were huge!

I did my part in delivering bits and pieces in that whole process, not as impressive as the big bits shown in the link, but without those Rolls Royce engines, it wouldn’t get far, would it…?

This was the biggest and heaviest girder frame trailer on the market back in the day, built by Goldhofer.

Volvo F12 - (J608UAM) - Wrekin Transport:

I once read in an article that this Wrekin was lead by the son of the man who had founded Wrekin Roadways, can’t remember if it was in Classic Commercials magazine or some other title. Maybe Dean knows?
