"Heavy Haulage through the years"

Hi Gents, another instalment of the Sunters move…

Whatever happened to Sunter’s Tractomas and Titan?

Ed

Not sure if it’s the Titan Sunter’s once owned, but I’ve got a pic somewhere of a Titan in Econofreight livery standing at some middle East depot, looking rather worn out… no idea what happened to the tractomas…

The Tractomas was sat in Middlesborough Depot rotting away slowly when ALE took over what was left of Econofreight _ doubt they moved it to Stafford or the Skippers Lane yard so probably scrapped.
The Titan did indeed go out to the Middle East

This was Sunters Tractomas when brand new, before it was painted and lettered by Ted Hannon at Toft Hill.

I came across this ALE video

Absolute grand stuff there LR Man, cheers mate

Cheers for the info Rikki, I’ll have a wee search in my “archive”, I’m sure I’ve got that pic of the Titan stashed somewhere when it was on the end of it’s life…

Oh and you accidentally included Johnny and me in one of your pic’s LR Man, that’s me explaining to Johnny yet again how it all works…
