Heavy Haulage/Low Loaders...North East

Just looking for any upto date info on the above kind of companies in the North East like Metcalfe Farms, John Dickinson etc…rates, working conditions etc …Thanks in advance.

Don’t know about Metcalfe but John Dickinson is in my opinion an awful fella. Nasty and petty and just nasty. Approach with caution.

Our low loader drivers (tipper/construction firm) seem to always be either flat out busy or stood in the workshops with nowt to do. Pay is around £11/hr I think, not bad for day work.

Loading diggers, jcb’s, etc doesn’t seem so bad but steel plates and fence panels looks like a right chew on.
