Hi Folks
Whilst training a truck coming the other way got to close and smashed my offside mirror. Managed to order a new one and fit it just in time for my candidate to take his test.
Downside is that the electric connector into the mirror for heating it (female) is a 2 pin type but the existing power connector is a 5 pin type.
Does. anyone know if you can buy a convertor or advise if I can do anything else to connect it?
Thanks in anticipation
Paul

Tie a slither of rag to the mirror arm.
Make & model of truck might help…
Dies the 5 pin connector just have 2 wires into it, or are there the full five? If just 2, I’d cut the connectors of and use waterproof ■■■■ splices to join them up - polarity won’t matter on heater wires.
