Heard in a RDC

here we go, a mate of mine (honest) told me this…
he had been chatting to a container driver,
this driver told him that VOSA can do you for having your twistlocks up when running empty…
should i believe this or what,
and if it’s true, are VOSA taking the Proverbial ■■?

If it isn’t true, this will give them an idea. Most drivers leave the fronts lifted but locked, easy beer money for the vostapo

They would make a fortune any place near a contaiber port.

This is RDC [zb]. In my humble opinion.

I think he means open, as in the handles sticking out, I have also been told that if you leave the rear bolsters up when running empty, you need to pull out the under run bar!! Or drop them!!

Also untrue.

Also untrue.

Exactly.

Twist locks raised and unlocked while travelling “MT SKEL” is not an issue as they are not supposed to be securing anything.

If you couldn’t drive round with your rear bumper out, how would it be legal with a 45 footer on?

The RDC bull crap list just keeps getting bigger.

No body actually said that!

Sorry, thought the title of the thread was heard in a RDC
