There I was eating me bacon butty at Steves snap wagon on the A41 on the way in to Aylesbury this morning and I hear an almighty bang and crash.
Upon looking up I see a left hand drive old BMW all over the road about 400m up from where I am stood smashed to bits . It came to rest in front of the truck he had clipped.
He in his words “did not see” the back end of a Scanny 164 and a curtainsider trailer until the last second as he swerved to miss it . The car was totalled …every panel and all the glass smashed. The sun was behind him and it was a clear bright morning.
FFS their are some muppets on the road.
I left my number with the truck driver in case his insurance needs a statement.
Everyone was medically ok and the only damage to the trailer was a very slight bend on the steelwork with the lights attached to it. The car did not resemble its former shape at all.
Poor truck driver will have spent hours doing the paperwork for that I bet !
