Russian health and safety is slightly more relaxed than our UK version.
Least he had on hi viz clothing though. And gloves
It all makes sense when you realise that in a war they view a kill ratio of 9 to 10 as a win.
Imagine doing that at a Tesco/Stobbie Railhead !

Russia is safer than all those mad Scots
As much as I hate to be “one of those posters”, but they sound more German than Russian.

Sorry but it is not in Russian. This people speak not in russian language.
Fair enough. German it is.
It is amazing how much health and safety has changed over the years. In the early 70s when I would have been about 12, me and a mate used to go up to the shunting yard for the local pit; Depending who was on the shunter, we would get to help, we would get to ride in the cab, he would have us connecting the tubs together (the chains were so heavy it took two of us to lift them over the hook) we would get to ride on the side of the tubs as he shunted them about, and even change the points. But the best bit would be getting a shot at the controls when he would go the 5 mile up the track to the pit, taking up empty tubs and bringing back the full ones. I think they were some of my fondest childhood memories.
