Lol…was he also flashing his headlights at vehicles to move out of his way or was it just bad video quality?
Looks like 4 way flashers as his speed drops drastically around the time he starts to lose it, so probably emergency brake assist. Likely spotted the speed van.
A66 not a good place to speed especially ■■■■■■■ side - they love that speed, sorry, safety van.
if you dont crack a smile at this one then you are well suited to being in the trucknet pedantic perfect duddly do good ex phd in something advanced training fanny brigade on here.

The flashing is the amber hazard lights deployed when he slams on the brakes when he notiefes the camera van.

Nah those are the “I’m braking like ■■■■■ warning lights. Stamp on the brakes on any modern vehicle and it chucks the hazards on or flashes high level brake light if it has one fitted. He obviously finally saw the van when he was almost on top of it and stamped on the brakes hence the trailer wobble.
Not sure how HSF still have an operators licence. I know a couple of people who drove for them and the last thing they gave a monkeys about was tachos and speed limits.

Was told by a Dutchman a few years back that a large donation annually to the Dutch Police Benevolent fund helped to keep the Dutch side of the operation in business.

A1 Alps down into Italy. I stopped for a traffic jam caused by a fatality. Side of trailer taken out by out of gear tanker. Local cops make us fill in insurance exchange paperwork. Go to builders merchant agri tape and plastic sheet to cover the holes. 3 weeks later back to UK trailer written off and Italian police cant trace the tanker driver. So children best to not let the old timers encourage you to knock it out of gear.
