Hazardous goods question for you

1.4s is still an explosive although it is allowed on the roads in limited quantities, that means the way it is packed. If you had gunpowder in a 220 cube drum that would be under ADR,

however, bullets, fireworks and shotgun cartridges are packed in smaller quantities to avoid the regulations.

Bullets are only hazardous when they are in a gun, although a police car that was involved in an accident in Tyneside and then caught fire proved diferently. The fire caused the bullets to explode while the authorities were dodging flying bullets :stuck_out_tongue:

I have spent a while reading this today because quoting from my DGSA books would be pointless as they are 5 years out of date

YES…This is obviously about the situation Ian has found himself in,even though the customer said it ain’t adr. They will tell you that as certain adr load’s require the sender to do thing’s a little differently.Anyone who think’s that carrying munition’s ain’t hazardous then sorry they need their head looked at.( Ian this ain’t aimed at you m8)Although this load was in the lowest category it still require’s trem card’s to move the load.So yes it is hazardous.

Class 1 you can’t carry with normal ADR Licence as Class 1 and Class 7 is extra like Tank too
you also would need a secound Person with you, but, without checking it would i say 1.4 is lower limit like seatbelts

Sorry fred but over here you don’t see petrol tanker’s double manned.Do you  And also we used to carry munition’s down to great yarmouth depot and that was single manned.

 Sorry for you :exclamation:
you didn’t know what i tought during writing but didn’t wrote
Petroltank is a own Licence
petrol tanks could be,but mustn’t be doubledmanned.
but Petroltanker needs other ADR Licence as Parcel ADR Transport :exclamation:
what you need to carry Class 1 is an ADR Licence Class1 and a second Person in Truck. :exclamation:
If you are with a Van or Car under 3500kg on the way will you not need an ADR Licence, but you still need a second Person with you :exclamation:
If you carry an Atombomb for Privat use in a Privat Car you will not need an ADR Licence or Second Person with you, solong it is privat
