Months of trying to get any sort of lgv work after passing my class 1 have finally resulted in a small company giving me a driver assessment today. Despite the rubbish weather and having never driven an automatic of any kind the drive went perfectly well with some good reversing into tight places and at the end of it being offered a full time class 2 job. really pleased. the morale of the story is it may take a long time and god know how many cv’s sent, companies spoken to and visited but you get there in the end if you really want it.
