Here’s a thought !!! Be nice and friendly to the clamper with the tactile and defensive open arms and a 'oh come on mate ’ attitude, then out the blue just lamp him !! His mate will assist him and they will both apprehend you until police get there and charge you. You’ll have both their names and addresses then as witnesses 
Someone else will have to sort the truck and the clamp out as you’ll be in custody, your fine would probably not be as high as £250 !!

Just as long as you make sure you’re the criminal you’ll be fine. That’s always the way it works anyway right? The innocent one getting shafted? ie the clampers

At first glance and to the uninformed you might think so. And here is a guy who has been ticketed because he is not displaying a valid parking ticket where he is supposed to…Fair enougth you might think?
Thats not my lorry its my mates. I didn;t take the pic, nor did he,it was taken by the ‘traffic warden’ who gave him the ticket and was part of a fotoset of about 8 showing he was displaying no ticket, it was called ‘evidence’. So, what happened?
Well he pulled into the coach/lorry park in Stratford on Avon centre, parked up, seen the warden who told him how much it was and where to pay etc…One machine would not take £1 coins and the other would not take £2 coins, so he told the warden who pointed out the change point and told him there was a leisure centre nearby for change as well. When he returned after 13 minutes he was ticketed. He asked the warden what he was playing at, the warden said ‘well appeal against it then’, which he did and won his appeal. There won’t be many who appeal. These friggin idiots need locking up, not support from you lot!!!

I wonder if anyone has ever challenged a MSA clamper in the courts?
I know that being clamped on private land is legal (based on summat I read at pepipoo.com HERE) but the legal arguments don’t apply at MSA’s and possibly removing a clamp forcibly would quite possibly be legal…
Oh and if you didn’t see or read the notices and are prepared to go to court and say that, you’ll possibly win.

you’re right. There’s lots of stuff like clamping tired/sleeping drivers they aint supposed to do. Not many people will argue the case in court though as it may cost money and a day off work in court.
I wonder whether you would get away with it if your driving time is up and by law you must have a break. Providing there was no where else to park in the lorry parking area at your time of arrival, surely you would have to be let off as you would be in contrevenion on the driving hours laws if you carried on, as you have found a safe place to park. ( Not necessarily legal, but safe! ).
If your just being a lazy arse, then more fool you!!! You deserve a ticket and/or a clamp!!! We all know that we shouldn`t park in the coach bays, enough people ■■■■■ and moan about getting clamped there and yet more and more are getting clamped every day!!
I hate clampers as much as the next person, but providing you are not just being a lazy arse, why should we let these scum get away with earning more money in ten mins than we do in a week!!!
