Thats the problem with a lot of companies today…insufficient packing for travelling in certain road vehicles…they know drivers have to secure their load…in a normal hard side fridge…they load the pallets, and all a driver has to do is put securing bars at the back, top and bottom…however in a tautliner ( fridge or not ) to secure a load, a driver must use straps…straps have a tendency to damage goods,or its packaging and thats exactly what you have immigrant…so in your statement, tell the boss exactly what happened, tell him tautliners are no good for this type of load, you will need a real fridge as you can secure the load a lot better and cause little if no damage at all.
By the way, i often wonder why they bothered to make a fridge out of a tautliner in the first place, surely the temperatures cannot be held consistently, and the engine must be screaming its head off day and night…just a thought.
