Have bentons gone plain white

Ive seen a few new bentons brothers motors in the standard factory white lately,is this for a certain contract  i hope they dont loose their lovely paintjob in favour of plain white with a womans name on the front   morris transport from boston have gone down the same route doing away with their blue and red paint job and going white the stickers on um:roll: still nice motors though

£3000+ per vehicle for a paint job plus £2000 to have it repainted white on de-hire vs £1000 tops for vinyl graphics and £50 to remove them on de-hire.

Dont know if Bentons have changed policy on painting, but yes,ive deen plain white ones as well, thing is,all the"liveried"ones have private plates on as well, but the white ones havent, could be subbies?? :grimacing:

We’re the White ones renaults?
I remember they were running a few White renaults with blue stickers a few year ago.
I think but not sure that they were on a certain contract.
Be a shame if another firm has gone and scraped a good paint job for “boardroom white”

the white daf, i’ve only seen one of them, its not its usual spec, its a space cab, they normally spec a super space cab, god knows why they have it, could be a subbie as people have said, be a long term hire/lease, a demo unit etc

the white renaults went back around 2013, and from what i heard at the time, they won’t be getting anymore. the white and blue renaults and daf’s were/are run by benton logistics, which is a part of benton brothers transport.

they also have some blue and white mercs and dafs in a tschudi logistics livery, some have private plates some don’t.

That’s funny cos all the ex Benton trucks ive seen on the road are still in their colours but with somebody else’s name on it!! :unamused:

maybe some of their drivers will start blinging them up

Well in a job interview many many moons ago I was told buy them I “can” purchase accessories for my truck taken out of pay or holiday ha ha ha!! Maybe now they include the paint Job with this wonderful offer. Pay was rubbish back then (2003) They added there was a waiting list. He had to shout that to me though though as I’d already walked down the steps :unamused:

Im guessing no firms round the boston area pay well,or do they  ,i know nothing about the company apart from seeing the red motors knocking about

There’s rubbish pay and a variation of rubbish pay in the area. Then there rubbish pay coupled with the glutting offer to pay for accessories from pay or give holiday back. Oh don’t forget, there’s a waiting list… Attitudes at interview often belie the road ahead with a firm and provide a good exposé to their little peccadillos

If you leave Bentons, do you get to take the accessories with you?
