hi looking for information on a haulier from carlisle & haydon bridge,called taits, used volvo’s as main fleet, any info, pics or memories.livery was white cab with twin blue stripes and blue chassis. 
Taits used to have the Volvo dealership in Haydon Bridge & Darlington.
They actually took over the running of DD Needham in Darlington,but like lots of others they have dissapeared into Haulage oblivion.
thanks robbies dad ,for your reply,darlington does ring a bell, that i never mentioned, i remember going to haydon bridge with my dad in 1974 to test drive his new truck unpainted f88/240,which he received about 2 weeks later in taits colours,does anyone know when taits was last heard of? speaking of f88’s any pictures of this cult truck would be gratefully appreciated…
Taits used to also have the Volvo dealership in Oldham.
Their haulage was based at Penrith, Longtown and Haydon Bridge, I last saw them in the late eighties running tippers in Newcastle.
