I used to live in Stevenage and worked at Asda in Bedford. The journey wasn’t to bad and the money was alright at the time, loads better now by all accounts. Depends if the type of work suits you. It was my first full time job driving had been on agency for a year previously so suited me down to the ground did a few years there before moving up north.
Bookers have a distribution centre in Hatfield.
Thanks for the replies people, it’s much appreciated
GRS run out of Smallford and Tyttenhanger.
Naybur Bros Potters Bar, were after a class 2 HIAB driver, don’t know if they still are. It would be home every night at least.
As tipper firms go BP Mitchell certainly ain’t the worst out there.
New motors not run ragged money ain’t brilliant im told but there’s a lot worse out there.
Mainly 8 wheel tippers but a few artics on low loader and tipper work.
Will be doing a bit of London work though although it tends to be mainly north London suburbs rater than the city.

+1 on that, I’ve got a couple of mates who are long term tipper drivers, both have ended up there with little in the way of complaints.
They do grab and skip work too now.
