Please can anyone help me, we are having trouble finding out information regarding a haulage company, that pops up in a 1981 map of Thirsk, just off Station road, where Racecourse mews is now. A enviromental search of the area, details just of a haulage company with no name. Todds and that is already accounted for. Please help me if you can as its stopping us from moving and have a useless solicitor. Thanks

I can remember Bamletts farm machinery where the Ford dealer is now situated … only other firm I can recall ( at moment ) is near the cattle market, was depot for concrete pumping firm … I think it was Pochin.
They guy you could ask @ Housemans would be Alan Dale … he used to run his own trucks in Thirsk.
