I’m new to the forum and after a bit of advice.I’m 40 years old and live in Blackpool Lancashire,I have wanted to drive lgv’s since I was five years old but I can’t afford the training fees. I currently work driving a 7.5 tonner on multi drop but have 19 years experience driving pcv’s does anyone know of any companies in the Blackpool area that offer lgv training. Any advice will be most welcome

Why not ask your current employer… Is there a need in the business…do they run anything bigger than a 7.5t…
Companies don’t generally go splashing out on training as there are plenty of self funded newly qualified drivers looking for a work… so what you asking in like looking for a needle in a haystack…
A friend of mine got his class 2 funded by the royal mail years ago, that was after working for them for 5 years…
I know that you can do it with Goldstar, I was talking to a guy from Manchester that have traveled down to Suffolk to do his class 1&2 as well as his CPC. I know that Goldstar can be slated by some on here but Its worth a look if you dont mind traveling and staying away for a week at a time. no only that but if they do give you the training then they give you a job after and you only pay a deposit of £400 for the lot then pay the rest back when you start working for them. or for you it would be £150 for just class 1 i think.
you might find some other people do this sort of thing closer to you. best thing to do (I would say) is look at the big company’s web pages near you.
