The controversial Hastings to Bexhill Link rd opens today. The purpose of it being to relieve congestion on the A 259 between the two towns and to divert westbound traffic from the A21 away from Hastings. It appears from some of the comments that much of the PR hype spouted by politicians is the normal hot air; like most of these schemes it is just going to move the problem somewhere else. It will be interesting to see how long it is before the usual fringe development vultures start circling .
I give it six months before the first RTC fatality.
