I drove for EMR at the Bedford depot back in the 90’s.
Never had a problem with them. I only left because I was offered a job paying a lot more.

Hourly rate will vary from depot to depot so is the working hours, job is fairly easy moving scrap from A to B if you on bulkers, bin and skips sort of same, take empty to customer and exchange for loaded then back to yard, I would say 4-5 jobs a day but again all depends on depot. Some of the bin jobs are straight forward then you get the odd one that they think is ok load 10ft above bin so don’t be shy to ask them to remove it politely. I don’t get bothered by managers and I can’t see other drivers complaining much but don’t forget one thing, show me a driver that doesn’t moan about something [emoji16] Money has gone up over the last years well at least where I am based.
