Looks like Asda will be going ahead with a DC at Grantham, oh and I got an agency job at freshlinc back on nights for a whole £8 per hour straight, no weekend, night, overtime bonus lol, will do for now, start Sunday.

Great news big vern.

we got our hens yesterday, 3 of them laid eggs today :open_mouth: , bit of a shock bonus as they are only pullets and the stress of travelling and change of scene is sposed to upset them for a week or so. reckon they must like their new home :grimacing:

Finally made a start on creating the new paddocks and should have the fences finished and gates hung by the end of next week :smiley:

Oh and the agency I’m with is looking for a couple more drivers

Good news.The temp has shot up to min 6c so its almost spring.
The’ve just started a new mine in Kaunisvaara and the prognosis is that they will need at least 100 drivers soon.2 small problems.First its for 25mtr road trains running at 60-90 ton.Second,its 250 kms north of the arctic circle.Mike

i hope its warm there hutpik… im goin to stchlm in the morning and may have a sneaky trip to katterjokk planned too see my 2 mates who manage the restaurant/hotel there…

Hi Acceptme.In Stokholm its above zero now so its warm although you can still have ice at night.
Up here its one of the best times of the year as its 0c to -10c during daytime but still goes down to -10 to-15c at night.This makes it the best time for snowmobiling and skiing so everyones out flying around the forest trails.I’m going out tomorrow on my quad which is fitted with caterpillar tracks so thats fun in 1mtr deep snow.Drive safe.Mike
