Has anyone been pulled in to prove they have a DCPC?

I haven’t and neither has anyone I know !

I had a good laugh a while back at Carlisle truckstop when I heard a group of Stobbies lads saying that there would be roadblocks and 24 hour manned checkpoints !

Christmas party’s been paid for this year. It will come.

Ive seen 3 vosa 4x4s pulling loads of motors today on the a1 at wentbridge ,any body know what they were after  there always knocking about around that area for some reason…beware

That was only if Scotland voted YES!-

shown my dcpc card to a policeman a couple of weeks ago after a minor collision.the car driver was ranting in what-ever language, and the OB asked him for his ID.so i produced my card to show who i was,but doubt if the officer knew what it was

I drive a bus on local authority contracts (school runs). Since the dcpc came in for bus drivers in Sept 2013 we have had two “multi agency” checks at one of the schools (county council, police, VOSA, DSS and anyone else who can be bothered to show up).
One of these was just after the deadline in Sept 13, My card has not been asked for on either of these checks or at any other time.

Out of 2 companies that I currently work for, only one has asked for my documents and they take a copy of them every week. The main company hadn’t asked to see anything ever. No authorities have checked yet however, someone did get 3 points for a bald tyre recently. On the contract that I was working on. They are pulling their wagons now and I suspect this will increase which is why I left before the deadline

A driver told me yesterday he got spot-checked at Motorway services on 14th September - Leicester Forest I think he said…he didn’t have DCPC DQC as he hadn’t completed the 35 hours. He was let off with a caution because he had ‘booked in’ for 2 x 7 hours remaining training - his last module is today. Don’t know how long these ‘warnings’ will continue.

Driver said: ‘If I wasn’t booked in for remaining training the DVSA would have fined me’. Don’t know what level of fine or if they are still being lenient one month on from this episode■■?

thankfully for me,then I haven’t been pulled in for not having one,cos I aint got one…il worry about it when I need to.simple as that. :imp:

They’ll be sold on eBay at some point soon I’m sure.
