This is an 11 year old Irish XF that was painted 11 years ago. The driver says it doesn’t get out much and lives in a shed wrapped in a blanket, all the same, daf bumpers generally start rusting as they are being fitted!
think the driver is telling lies, that truck is working away every day unless its been in the shed the last week

i cant exactly remember but its a 2002 or maybe 2004, it was a 480 but got a 430 put in a few years ago. anyway who was telling you about it or where did you see it ? oh, by the way it is fresh looking and did have a good paint job done on it, gone and forgot the name of the painter, noel something or other from near lough neagh.

don’t know the driver but we were both loadin at countrywide freight, gateshead, still its better paint than my '04 xf, oh…he also said it doesn’t get out of ireland much■■?
that truck covered pretty much all of europe up to about 2 or 3 years ago but i think its only mostly loading trailers in the north here. i have pictures somewhere of the same truck that i took in italy and there are some on here of it coming out of the wash at lymm. when she was a 480 it was a good going truck and covered some kms, used to run a wee bit fast and i got done for it in switzerland because the mileage reading was out on the tax form.after coming off the euro work she got the engine transplant and was driven for a few years by the then local driver who looked after it. if you were at gateshead i’m guessing it had been delivering to unitrunk near newcastle.

its not a 2004, you can tell that by the headlights, id say at the latest its a 2003.
i’m thinking it was 2002,but anyway doubtful its 11 years old.
