The Hard shoulder is alledgedly only for Emergencies,.
Is it illegal then for the police to pull someone on to the shoulder for say a numberplate offence? Which is not exactly an"emergency", Surely they should take you off the m’way to a layby, or service area.
100% correct in what you say, but what they should and actually do are two totally different things 
The police are Immune from all the laws of this land, it’s in their contract of employment. They can do what they like, when they like, how they like, if they like. They are allowed to Beat you up, Kidnap you, Torture you & even Kill you.

I got pulled last week in my car on the way to work, on the m6 between 31 and 29 about 07:15
Got out the car through the passenger side and walk up to the police car
was offered a seat in the back of the car as they do!!!
ANPR had come up on the car saying it had no insurance showing■■?
Had the documents with me as always to prove i am insured to drive anything ■■?
while i was in the police car, i asked the officer if we could move off the motorway
because as a driver i have seen loads of crashes with vehicles that have been stopped on the hard shoulder
some of them fatal and i don’t want to become one of them!!
so as a matter of safety can we please get off the motorway while he carried out his checks,
to which he replied!!
That i needed to be quiet and he didn’t like my attitude and he would keep me there as long as it takes!!!
That told me?? was there till just after 9, till he could speak with the insurance company
Can’t see why we couldn’t pull off to a safe area?? think he was the one with the attitude…
POLICE do what ever they want when they want and if you say anything, your the one with the bad attitude
“Not liking your attitude” and “digging a bigger hole for yourself” are two of the filth’s favourite stock phrases.
Tell them to go into a town centre pub near closing time and say that to see what happens…
Also, as far as I am aware you do not have get out of your motor and sit in theirs to deal with them.
If they have anything to say they can discuss it through the driver’s window.

What about our Foreign trucker friends nighting out on the hard shoulders■■? 
while we are on the subject of the hard shoulder, why do the emergency services choose to force people in lanes 1 and 2 to move over so they can run down the dividing line instead of using the hard shoulder? surely it is just slowing them down to do this, especially when the come up behind someone who doesnt notice them in their mirror? i saw a belter last week. a woman hogging the fast lane with a copper behind her trying to get her out of his way

You see a lot of that, car drivers mainly hogging the lane oblivious that theres an emergency vehicle behind trying to pass

and they’re stopping you going about your lawful business, that’s false imprisonment! 
yes they’re a law unto themselves, but get their number off their lapel and their vehicle reg and ask who the chief superintendent is 
then ask them for their warrant card to make sure they’re not telling porkies! as a parting shot, ask them can you see their authorisation to pull you, especially on the hard shoulder! I hope this helps! if you really want to put the cat amongst the pidgeons tell him to flick all his lights on and get him to press the breaks as well! and washers and wipers, that one goes down a treat NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW, they just enforce it because they’re puppets with no voice for the governmint!
