Andy, let the dust settle, do some agency to tide you over, stick with it you will find your niche, eventually.
@ alex
That was a very well written ‘Cockney’ accent Unfortunately I am not from London so do not have that accent
but still 10/10 mate
Thanks for all the advice, I appriciate it very much.
The paper is out today with jobs so we’ll see what that has to offer, plus I still have a couple of irons in the fire with jobs I’d applied for before I took this one and an agency I can re-register with.

Mind you, there’s a red light district about 5km’s from me so I was thinking about maybe running a house of ill repute, but then the missus said I can’t test 'em out first![]()

Test what out? Thought you’d be the star turn.
Salut, David.

The red lights of course
Don’t want any dodgy bulbs do we
I must be the odd one out here, because even after 18 years I still love my job.
I start work when I want. I finish work when I want.
If I want to stop for a coffee, or breakfast, or even for a sleep, then I can do that when I want, where I want, without asking anybody’s permission.
I have my working environment at the exact temperature I want. If I want to listen to music, then I do. If I don’t, I don’t.
In the summer, I can wear shorts, sandals and a T-shirt. In the winter I can wear jeans and my favourite baggy jumper.
If I’m thirsty, I just reach for the fridge. If I’m hungry then I stop anywhere I want and eat whatever I want.
Basically, I’m paid a lot of money to sit on my arse, listening to my favourite CD, swigging Tropicana and watching beautiful scenery roll by.
How many of you think that office or factory work is better than that?
Vince
Well said Vince
Beautiful countryside, good food and drink!
Beautiful Laydeez
And a choice of who you talk to in the bar, rather than an office colleague who you dont really like
