Noticed a rigid,possible a seventeen tonner on the M8 today.It was on the other side and nearly opposite me before I saw it.Had a half cab like the Fodens used to have but was a left ■■■■■■.Had a box on the back and some kind of framework on the bit where the cab should have been.
Anybody seen it,know what it is?

catering supply vehicle for airlines, the body lifts up to access the aircraft and they wheel the food trollies on board
Sounds like one of Alpha Caterings trucks. They are for supplying aircraft with their in flight meals. They have a depot in the cargo area of Glasgow Airport but they supply Edinburgh Airport too IIRC.
Without any shadow of a doubt … as mentioned above, an aircraft supply truck.
