Half cab rigid on M8

Noticed a rigid, possible a seventeen tonner on the M8 today. It was on the other side and nearly opposite me before I saw it.Had a half cab like the Fodens used to have but was a left ■■■■■■.Had a box on the back and some kind of framework on the bit where the cab should have been.
Anybody seen it,know what it is?

It’ll be a plane catering truck.

catering supply vehicle for airlines, the body lifts up to access the aircraft and they wheel the food trollies on board :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Sounds like one of Alpha Caterings trucks. They are for supplying aircraft with their in flight meals. They have a depot in the cargo area of Glasgow Airport but they supply Edinburgh Airport too IIRC.

Without any shadow of a doubt … as mentioned above, an aircraft supply truck.
