Not a bad place to be as it has beds, showers and will be full of scantily clad ■■■■■■ up chicks barely old enough to drink. :open_mouth:

Sounds a good place to be.

The young ones in England can not handle their drink as their parents enforced the ban until they are old enough to drink.
In Europe, it is normal for children to have a drink, so when they are older, they do not have the need to drink to excess and start a fight with a lamppost or traffic cone.
The police need this drunk tank, as the cells will fill up fast, the time wasted booking in an offender then drive them to another station , such as Yeovil or Taunton when Bristol is full up.
Then the paperwork to process each offender.
I wonder why the English binge drink, only on paydays or when they are off work ?

Jesus wept you couldn’t make it up, the lunatics have now fully taken over the asylum.

We leave poor old souls that have worked all their lives on stretchers in corridors until they freeze to death…cutbacks you know, we can’t help genuine cases due to treatments and medicines being too expensive…cutbacks you now.

But we’ve got unlimited (borrowed for you, me, and our kids to pay back) funds to provide comfort and protection for half wits who go out to get deliberately ■■■■■■■ i give up.

They are being paid for by the National Licensed Trade Association, whos members are getting these people in this state in the first place, so its not all that bad, but then theirs me thinking there is still a law against serving drunk people in licenced premises in this country!!!

This is such rubbish! It’s cheap supermarket booze and some moonshine entrepreneurs that are the cause of the drunks on the street - don’t remember this nonsense going on when I was growing up, pubs were great social places. The are bladdered before they go out and spoil anywhere for those of us who are trying to enjoy a decent night out without getting beaten up, spit on, sicked on etc!

Bah! Humbug!

Rowdy drunkenness and binge drinking seems to be a bigger problem here than other place sin Europe, but this is far from a new problem.
I saw plenty of out of control drunken behavior when I was a teenager (might have taken part in some of it  )and I know from stories my Dad told me when he was in the army in early 50’s they weren’t all Te-total and getting an early night on Saturday so they were up and ready for Church.

They have SOS buses on the streets of Norwich, I think they’re run by a charity, they’re not quite the same, but are there to look after people who are in trouble after a night out. this will help free up space in causality departments and by the sounds of it they’ve found a source of funding for it, plus a vehicle like this could also be used as a on site facility in a major emergency.

Did Mrs BB let you out last night then

We have street Pasteurs that volunteer to help drunks, they have rucksacks with flip flops for ladies that break their stilettos.
Lollipops to give out to stop them gobbing off at closing time.
If you don’t live too far away , they may walk you home.

Can I borrow that truck, just what I need on my charity walk.
Lots of beds and a shower …does it have a kitchen ?

Apparently we have all of that in Bristol too … the only thing missing is common sense :unamused:
