Just done a bit of wheeling and dealing and to “cut” a long story short I may soon be the owner of a mobile barber shop!! 
I intend to sell it on again but was just wondering if it’s something people might actually go for?? When you stop for a tacho break you could give your barnet a quick “snipper-rooney” before carrying on to your delivery/collection point as people haven’t always got time to nip into town for a trim-up. I’ve put the feelers out and I’ve got several rather attractive female stylists interested in the job as well as my local barber who runs several shops in the area…

Whitwood truck stop tried it years ago and it fell on its arse because they were charging £10.
My local charges £4 for number 1 all over which is fair enough for a shop in town with overheads. £8 was too much, it’s not like you’ll be doing much styling is it?
Stylists need to be pretty for it to be a success lol.
Oh and MSAs will probably charge a fortune for a pitch.
There’s 1 at a truck stop on the A1 if I remember rightly, but it’s never open when I’ve been so no idea how good they are.

I think that’s the 1 looking at the pics, as you go in the diner is on the right and there’s a portacabin on the left after a few parking spots, then it gets a bit rough.
A1 haircuts it’s called, and on google streetview it was a fiver.
There is one at south mimms truck stop, in an old bus. Never used it but seen people going in and out…

Been there for years in an old Leyland National.If he’s still there now,he/she must be doing something right.
Imagine the number of posts on here if someone left their vehicle on the pumps and then went in there for a quick tidy up.
Isnt there a MSA up near Manchester “I think it is” i cant remember the MSA name “can someone say it” iv seen a barbers there if If I remember correctly next door is a truck accessories shop…
There is/was one on the A5 from Luton to Bedford looks like a burger van often see tippers parked up and other HGV so must do a bit of trade

I’ve heard rumours of other mobile ‘services’ in that neighbourhood but not sure if it’s true or not and TBH I’m not in a great rush to find out!!!
I’ll know more about the barbering trailer in the morning and if possible I’ll try to “trim” the price down a bit…In fact I’ll ask the owner if he can just
take a bit off the top, that way I’ll not be left short will I??
