Thought I’d share this -
driving through a village early this afternoon, 30mph limit, uphill S bend, round to the right then the left, near enough straight from start of S bend to end, only 34t on so doing 28/29/30, what I could see from the start of the bend the car that overtook me couldn’t before 2/3 of the way through the left hand bend, a speed van on the right hand side of the road 
Serves him/her right for being so impatient.
I had a similar occurrence when I was last in Scotland. Driving down a single carriage road, at 40mph, I was followed by a tipper lorry, who spend most of the way halfway over the centre line, flashing headlights, and when we got to a short straight stretch, booted it and passed me giving it all the usual hand shake signals. He obviously spend so much time looking forward for his overtaking g opportunity, that he failed to spot the panda car behind him…
Oh how I laughed (and beeped my horn, and gave plod a thumbs up), when I passed a layby some miles up the road, with him and the panda car having a ‘frank exchange of opinions’…
