The longer you have worked there, the more expensive it is to make you redundant.
Fingers crossed for you.
5 years in October and he paid for my class 1 [emoji6]

I’m sure you’ve checked, but (unless your contract stipulates more generous terms, and assuming you are aged between 22 and 41) you’re looking at 5 weeks’ pay, with the weekly pay being capped at £538. In other words a maximum of £2690. Not going to pay the bills for long, is it…?
You would also get any accrued holiday pay still owing plus your wages that are owing obviously.

Taken no holiday and was on furlough for all the bank holidays so far
dozy:
Us old ones grew up with redundancies , lay offs , short
Time working what seemed every week , it was part of life in those days , we just got on with it !!!
Not sure I follow the tone of this, but you spend your life banging your gums on this forum about how you’ve been shafted Most Thursday and friday. Berating this and that of the job, I’m not to sure you can class yourself in the ‘WE’ part of we just got on with it… I suspect you grew up with redundancies always around the corner because your a numpty.
I am not 100% sure but i dont think you would get the bank holidays. basically you have been paid for them even though you was on furlough. Employers can MAKE their employees take holidays at this strange time(provided they give them twice as much notice as the time they want them to have as holidays unless they mutually agree to less notice) the advantage the employer gains from this is that the government pays 80% of the holiday pay.

Hope it works out for Blue Estate.
Interesting BBC Money-Box today talking about redundancy. Worth listening to, for general info. They recommended the acas.org site as being clear and helpful, and CAB (citizens advice) are always a good free source of info.

New keyboard please!
That made me laugh too. Reminded me of Uncle Albert and every ship he was posted on sinking soon after.
