Its a miracle, I felt the drive didn’t go so well with me fannying around at junctions and trying to pull off from a junction in 7 high instead of 3 low suppose I corrected my mistakes quickly but was sure I have failed…
So I passed the theory with a (54 MC/65 HP) and marked me 6 minors on the practical
Cant tell you guy just how happy I am, I FINALLY have a get out from Arriva, the job that nearly gave me a nervous breakdown (at 34 ) now I can drive them knowing that I can get a job elsewhere that pays the same without all the hassle.
Pulling away in 1st Gear (to my current knowledge) isn’t even a Driving Fault, I’m pretty sure the Standard Operating Procedure given to examiners states that a candidate should ‘not’ be penalised for pulling away in 1st gear…I’m pretty sure pulling away in 7th Gear would be though!!! Top stuff for managing to correct it on-the-spot, usually you get a Serious for Pulling Away - Control.
