My neighbour works on the dust as a driver, the council have just altered his shifts so now he clocks in at 7.30am and has to clock out at 4.30pm (used to be 6am and 2pm) but he still collects over 490 quid a week after tax, it maybe stop start but no nights out and home early enough to treat it like a “normal” job.
Is it just me or…
Good luck anyway!
i figured the only way i can get back is on the road is through a agency as ive had loads ring me to say my details was passed onto them by their clients ( alot are the ones i e-mailed). i
m in a good position for awhile. i can get casual work also. i havent got kids and the wife understands as her dad was a driver. the firm i worked for has changed the dust rounds so covering a wider area and working 6.45 till 5. it
s not the hours its the way they
re treating us. union doesnt do anything about it either. so for 300 p/w i was on i
m taking the chance and worst comes to worst i`ve left the firm on good terms so have the oppertunity to go back.
