H C Wilson, the usual please

Friend of mine is quite interested in this company and just wondered how difficult it is to get on with them for starters and what there like to work for?

Any info would be great. Cheers.

yes i thought it was abit like that.

Don’t you think your friend might be better off picking up the phone and asking them?
It’s mindboggling how lazy people are these days.

So you’ve never researched a company before calling them?

I agree it’s called doing your homework, no company is going to tell you “we’re actually a bunch of cowboys, your truck might not be properly maintained and we treat you like the [zb] you obviously are for working for us”

Although I doubt that would apply to HC Wilson never heard anything bad about them.

I doubt you’d get very far unless you’d got plant or abnormal load experience, probably European work would help too.

I think there’s a guy on here that works for them think his name is Mr141 but I mite be wrong

I have researched a few companies, however, I wouldn’t waste my time researching a company on a drivers forum.
For obvious reasons.
I would definitely ring a company I was interested in. You can get a good idea whether they are worth pursuing after a quick chat on the phone. This has worked for me in the past.

Yes assumed that would be the case, see them down the docks quite abit with some pretty serious stuff on.

Thats fair enough, but i think its how you use the infomation you receive. Its not for me anyway as what they do is well out of my depth and surprisingly im actually happy where i work :open_mouth:.
